Since 2012, The Gorge Zipline has welcomed tens of thousands of visitors each year to its location in the mountains of Western North Carolina. The Gorge is located adjacent to beautiful downtown Saluda, NC, and is widely (and proudly!) considered one of the best zipline tours near Asheville; Hendersonville; Greenville, South Carolina, and other can’t-miss recreation and vacation destinations.

The Gorge is owned by local Saluda residents Sara and Tim Bell (owners of Green River Adventures), and is proudly operated by the team at Applied Adventure.  Billed as one of the steepest, fastest zipline canopy tours in the US, The Gorge launches visitors on a steep descent into the world famous Green River Gorge on a series of 11 ziplines,  3 rappels, and a gravity-defying skybridge. From start to finish, groups descend 1,100 feet in elevation on a course that spans 1.25 miles and features spectacular views of the Green River Gorge from every angle!

For four years in a row, The Gorge has been named one of USA Today’s “10 Best Aerial Adventure Parks” and is consistently named among the “Best in the Blue Ridge” by Blue Ridge Outdoors magazine.
